Emily Ritchie, LPC

It is my goal to provide an empathic and nonjudgmental environment for you to come as you are and share whatever is on your mind. My office is a safe space for you. I am here to come alongside you in your journey and give you tools that can help you along the way. I can help you work through things that have happened in your life that you can’t seem to move past, learn more effective cope strategies, establish healthy boundaries, develop a better understanding of yourself and why you do the things you do, and discover how to manage your emotions in a way that is helpful to you.

I am passionate about working with individuals who have experienced trauma and those struggling with anxiety, depression, challenges relating to life transitions and difficulties in relationships. Working with couples has developed to be passion of mine as well. For my couples, I use a combination of attachment theory and the Gottman Method to work through many relational issues they present with.

In my spare time, I enjoy taking my dog to the beach and playing golf and paddleboarding with my husband. I'm also a huge bookworm and usually am reading 2-3 books at any given time. Fun fact about me, I hate ketchup and bacon.

I am providing virtual only appointments at this time. â€‹
